Java Edition Alpha never officially ran on Android. Mobile players had Minecraft: Pocket Edition (Lite) around 2011, which was vastly different. The APKs that circulate under the name "Minecraft Alpha 1.0 16-02" are or heavily modified old builds of Pocket Edition (v0.1.0 to v0.2.0) that mimic the Alpha 1.0 feel. They are fan projects designed to let you play the classic Java Alpha mechanics on a touchscreen.
