The 1080p source is solid, sourced from a Blu-ray master. Colors are faithful to Alex Proyas’ slightly desaturated, cold future-Chicago look. The open matte framing actually improves a few scenes – you see more of the robot assembly line and the architecture. However, a couple of shots feel slightly too roomy on top.
