(also known as Pass-Thru ) is an SAE standard for reprogramming vehicle ECUs (engine control units) and performing diagnostic functions using third-party hardware and software. A J2534-compliant driver allows the Mini VCI device to act like a professional pass-through device, enabling software like Toyota Techstream , J2534 Toolbox , or other OEM software to communicate with the vehicle.
