ESET NOD32 Antivirus offline updates refer to the process of updating the software's virus definitions and modules without an active internet connection. These updates are typically performed using a separate device with an internet connection, which is then transferred to the device with ESET NOD32 Antivirus installed.

Note: The old method of copying the "updfiles" folder from an online PC no longer works reliably with version 17.x due to digital signature chaining.

Warning: This method requires that the target ESET version matches the source version exactly (e.g., v17.0 to v17.0). A mismatch will cause "Update verification failed."
