This isn’t just another pop quiz. This is the for Slovenian. It’s the first taste of “high stakes” testing before high school. But here is the good news: It is painfully predictable. You just need to know what they are actually testing.
Besedilo A (pripovedni ali publicistični tekst, ~350–450 besed). Naloge: a) Kratek povzetek v 3–4 povedih (8 točk). b) Določanje glavne teme in dveh stranskih idej (4 točke). c) Iskanje pomena dveh neznanih besed v kontekstu + sopomenka za vsako (4 točke). d) Analiza odnosa med osebami v zgodbi ali stališčem avtorja (6 točk). e) Dve interpretativni vprašanji z utemeljitvijo odgovora (8 točk).
And to the 9th graders: This test does not define your intelligence. It defines whether you can follow instructions. That is a skill, not a talent.
