McAfee Endpoint (ePO) Security offers various endpoint security solutions to managed devices. This article provides best practices recommendations to ensure smooth interoperability of Netskope Client and McAfee Endpoint Security installed in a managed device.
We recommend that you read these articles to gain a better understanding of how Client works and its interoperability with 3rd party apps.
This best practices and configurations are based on the following product versions.
We recommend the following configuration requirement to ensure Netskope Client is able to steer traffic to Netskope cloud and also allow McAfee to process their traffic without any conflicts.
Default policies in McAfee ePO does not introduce restrictions on Netskope Client traffic. However, when creating a new policy ensure that the ports 80 and 443 are enabled and allowed in the McAfee Security Firewall rules.
Note
HTTP/HTTPS traffic (via 80 and 443) is enabled and allowed in default firewall policy

Note
If the ports are not allowed or enabled, click the Edit button open the Edit Rule page to select the Allow option listed under Actions and select Enable rule under Status.
In the Netskope tenant WebUI, add McAfee Agent as a certificate pinned app exception and add a set of McAfee URLs as domain exception to the appropriate steering configuration.
. These support newer FPGA families but do not support the legacy CPLDs (like the ispMACH 4000 series) that require ispLEVER Classic. Lattice Semiconductor Activation Process (If you have a Serial Number)
Legal signals to watch for
If you are working with legacy Lattice Semiconductor devices—like the popular GAL functional logic or older CPLDs—you’ve likely realized that modern software suites often leave these "classic" chips behind. Enter . isplever classic free license
If ispLEVER Classic 1.8 would work for your project and license file you could download a copy of the base installation file here: ispLEVER Classic | FPGA Design Software
The term "Free License" is often confused with "Open Source." You are receiving a pre-compiled binary toolchain free of charge, but the source code remains proprietary to Lattice Semiconductor. While it has its limitations, it provides an
In summary, the Isplever Classic Free License offers a limited but functional version of the software, suitable for educational, hobbyist, and small projects. While it has its limitations, it provides an excellent opportunity for users to learn and work with digital circuit design and simulation tools without incurring costs.
"Unsupported device" error. Solution: Double-check that your device is in the ispLEVER Classic device list. If you have an LFE3 or MachXO2, you need Lattice Diamond, not ispLEVER Classic. you need Lattice Diamond
: Active licenses are managed through a license.dat file, which must be placed in the software's installation directory (e.g., C:\ispLEVER_Classic2_1\license ) and added to the Windows "LM_LICENSE_PATH" environment variable. Software Overview & Supported Devices
