At its heart, FaceTrackNoIR v200 is a motion tracking engine. It uses your standard USB webcam (or laptop-integrated camera) to capture video frames, then applies computer vision algorithms to detect and track your head’s position and orientation. The software tracks six degrees of freedom (6DoF):
